Today 12/3/2012 Exile Resurrection, Cassandra Chronicle Number 7 was published by KDP

This novel's genesis was a family camping trip to Capitol Reef National Monument in south central Utah.
As we set up camp in an undeveloped area that could only be reached by 4wheel drive vehicles I began to wonder how would one survive if blind folded and dumped off in the middle of the night with only very small survival kit. Then I remembered doing that as a member of the Utah Air National Guard Flight Medicine exercise 10 years earlier.
I placed the story on the planet Cassandra with its earth derived biota and the rival kingdoms with differing philosophies and Prince Plado and his struggles filled my mental stage.
As you read the novel similarities between the U.S. Southwest will come and go but Cassandras unique ecology will surprise you. Plado's physical and mental struggles to survive and adapt especially to become a member of a group of people he had been taught were merely uncouth savages mirrors my experiences in the Southwest and Africa native cultures.
I hope you enjoy reading Exile Resurrection as much as I enjoyed creating it.
